I adore the trajectory of the light of fall. It transforms our
perceptions of everything. A dramatic change occurs in the sky especially in
the morning. Clouds lose their
edges gaining a diffused softness.
Yet the most dramatic change is the casting of long shadows and the extension
of the reach of light. In the fall
and through windows, the sun reaches deep into our homes and begs us to take an
afternoon nap.
